Traveler rating. Selected filters. All reviews meat item luck. Summer Vacation. They checked your ID as you went in the facility. One way in and one way out.
No smoking in the facility. Was pretty well cleanliness aware. Good visit. Read more. Date of experience: August Helpful Share.
Granite Falls, Minnesota contributions helpful votes. Worst Odds in Minnesota. Tightest slots in Minnesota. I have been to every casino in Minnesota, and this place does not give bonuses or comps or anything.
I Julia F wrote a review Aug Mn vacation. We went to dinner here on a Saturday night went to the Buffet they were serving prime rib as their main Buffet item plus many other meat soups salads desserts and Drinks the prime rib was excellent with a very large portion bigger than your plate and as much as you'd like gambling was so so but we are not big-time gamblers so did not invest a lot of money into the machines.
Belle Shores Resort. Timberlane Resort. The course is called Bears Den and it is a beautiful 9 hole course. This will be our go to course when we stay at the lake.
They have great Lake George Pines Motel. The beds were clean and the bathroom was spacious. It's an older motel and could use some renovation but we were comfortable Edgewood Lodge and Resort.
If you are looking for a family friendly resort, I would highly recommend! Trailside Travelodge. Pine River and Highway , P. Box , Pine River, MN The staff greeted us and she was very friendly and helpful AmericInn by Wyndham Park Rapids.
The accommodations are good and the staff is very eaasy to get along with. I definitely would stay there again.
Rodeway Inn. There has not been a pool here in 2 decades i was told, you can see the attachment it was once Super 8 by Wyndham Park Rapids. I stayed here during COVID times so they were restricting the housekeeping to you leaving your dirty towels and full trash bags C'mon Inn Park Rapids.
COVID procedures were in place, breakfast bar area and procedures could have been better communal area. Clean room, pretty quiet, pool area well Lee's Riverside Point Resort Motel.
The owners Dan and Cheryl have a real nice location. The property is well kept and the owners pleasant Vacationaire Resort.
Paradise Resort. Highway 39 , Pennington, MN The Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. It has a full kitchen and everything you need to make your meals.
Remer Motel And Campground. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My wife caught a bout of pleurisy, and I had to take her to the ER.
The owners were so nice AmericInn by Wyndham Pequot Lakes. We stayed two nights in a whirlpool suite with a fireplace.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I LOVED the king size mattress and slept really well. Douglas Lodge.
Lake Itasca, MN. They provide limited food service but with quite a bit of chaos. The entire lodge complex is covered in huge Red and White Pines and worth seeing because of the beauty.
Boyd Lodge. The mag stripe keys did not work. We had to go down 3 additional times to get keys. The staff said not to put the keys beside your cell phone as this deactivates them.
We got 2 more keys the first time, 5 keys the second time and 7 keys the last time. Obliviously there is something wrong that the hotel is not repairing.
When we finally did get into our room I went to the fridge to put some items in there. I always check to ensure the fridge is on in hotel rooms.
I do this by feeling if the grates are cold. Ours was sticky. Room was not overly clean. I would give it 4 out of The restaurant in the hotel was very good.
I would recommend this. It is sad to see a nice little casino like this that has such a poorly managed hotel. We stayed the next 2 nights down the road in Walker at a Country Inn.
If was fabulous. Maybe the Hotel Mangers from the Casino should try this out. See what their hotel is missing. Date of stay: January Cleanliness.
Room Tip: One that is clean and the door locks work. Helpful Share. Hoosie wrote a review Oct Minnesota 17 contributions 1 helpful vote. Great room, but the smoke smell everywhere else was awful.
We didn't realize they still allowed smoking in the casino. The room had a nice king-size bed and was a non smoking room. There was no refrigerator in the room but they had a Keurig coffee maker.
The room itself did not have a cigarette smell. The hallway was OK, too. But once the elevator doors open to the first floor, that's all you smell.
There were very few people in the casino since it's Monday night, but I think everyone in there had a cigarette going and it ruined it.
We couldn't stand to be in the bar and did not want to try to eat there because of the odor. Not our cup of tea. I suppose if you are a gambler and a smoker, it would be perfect.
But we are neither. We had heard the food was good in the restaurant, but it was closed. Date of stay: October Cleanliness.
Kathy M wrote a review Aug Rochester MN 3 contributions 1 helpful vote. We met some friends and stayed here one night. We had made reservations for two rooms close together.
When we checked in the attendant at the desk knew we wanted rooms close together and he said he could not accommodate that until the other party arrived.
Not sure why since we have done this at other places with no issue. Our room was on the third floor and it was in need of updating.
The carpet was worn out and thread bare in places. The bathroom sink was chipped and stained. Our window looked out at the pool below so we had a constant light from that all night long and noise until about 10 pm.
The staff at this hotel need some training in customer service and just were not helpful at all when we inquired about restaurants in the area.
I think they are planning some renovations on the other floors so maybe that will improve. We had non smoking rooms but there was always a faint cigarette smell especially during the evening - probably need to update their ventilation system.
There was also an issue with the rate we were given over the phone when we made the reservation and the amount they billed our credit card.
A supervisor had to approve the credit on our card for the overage of the room cost and she never called us as was promised. My husband had to call her and she supposedly is straightening this out.
Time will tell. We will not stay here again and I certainly cannot recommend this place. Renovations will help but the hospitality needs a lot of improvement.
Date of stay: August Rooms. Room Tip: If you have to stay here check out the room first.
